The Chancery Rosewood

Ok, so we're cheating a little with this one. Technically, the Rosewood Hotel Group's latest London instalment won't be ready until 2024, but it's so pretty we had to include it. Proudly housed in the former US Embassy in Grosvenor Square, this prestigious Grade II listed building is being transformed into an ultra-luxe hotel with 139 rooms, 5 restaurants and bars, a wellbeing centre, 6 retail spaces, and meeting and event spaces, including a vast 1000-pax ballroom. We're looking forward to seeing this for ourselves!

Raffles at the OWO

Ok, brace yourselves for this one. Raffles, with all its opulent, old-Hollywood glamour, is set to open a brand new addition to its portfolio in none other than the Old War Office Building in Whitehall. This iconic baroque building in the heart of the capital has housed countless historic household names and now it is set to house London's latest ultra-luxe hotel. Features include 120 luxury suites, 85 residences (some rumoured to be worth a cool £100 mil), a spa, ballroom, and 11 restaurants, including one on the rooftop, offering incredible city views.

Decadent interior elements such as mosaic floors, chandeliers and a marble staircase have been lovingly restored, resulting in a truly opulent experience the minute you step foot through the door. Coupled with Raffles' signature charm and impeccable hospitality, it's no surprise this venue is one of the most hotly-anticipated openings this year.

The Libertine

Tucked away in the immense vaults of the Royal Exchange, The Libertine is a brand new venue paying homage to the free-spirited revelry of the 16th century, when the old Royal Exchange attracted merchants and rogues from across the city and beyond. This luxurious space oozes indulgence and would make a unique backdrop for corporate events, parties, drinks receptions, or an exquisite dining experience in one of the venue's two beautiful private dining spaces. The Libertine also boasts a Whiskey Vault hidden amongst historic arches, as well as dedicated restaurant and bar spaces, and is able to welcome up to 450 guests in total across the whole venue.

Offering wholesome seasonal fare with a focus on the finest quality ingredients, as well as expertly-made libations, the charm and mystery of this venue will make guests feel like they’ve stepped straight into the hedonistic London of yesteryear.

Convene at St Pauls

Ideally located in Paternoster Square, the latest addition to the Convene portfolio is nestled among some of London’s most iconic and historic landmarks. With a plethora of carefully-curated event spaces including 5 large meeting rooms, this versatile 44,000 square-foot venue boasts a maximum total capacity of 925 guests. Designed with a nod to the Elizabethan era in mind, this venue effortlessly marries historic features with contemporary design and architecture, as well as staying true to Convene’s signature luxury style.

The purpose-built, fully-staffed spaces make the perfect backdrop for exhibitions, hybrid conferences, receptions, meetings, and a whole host of other events, complemented by innovative technology and on-site gourmet catering.

Ocean Diva

Last but most certainly not least, arguably the most unique new venue coming to London this year is SMART Group's latest offering, the spectacular Ocean Diva.

Set to be the first carbon-neutral event vessel on the River Thames, this revolutionary blank canvas venue (which is longer than a plane) can welcome up to 1,500 attendees across 3 decks for any kind of event you want. Modern, sleek, sophisticated... oh and you can also land a helicopter on the boat too. You know, for those really important VIPs.
